We have a few pictures which were originally produced in sepia colouring which we
have tried to enhance with a view to identifying the content more accurately.
We have not been able to ascertain where the shots were taken from.
We believe this picture shows Church House, Big Ben and St Stephen’s Tower of the Palace of
Westminster in the centre. It may have been taken from north of Victoria.

Perhaps Brompton Road looking north towards Hyde Park
Hyde Park Corner and Apsley House which belonged to the Duke of Wellington a connection of Mrs
Susan Buchan. The building to the right was demolished to make way for Park Lane.
